Top 5 Chilled Beverages to Enjoy at the 2024 World Expo of Beer in Frankenmuth

The annual World Expo of Beer in Frankenmuth is set to return this year, and several breweries from the 2023 event are poised to make a comeback. The festival will take place on May 17-18, 2024, at Frankenmuth’s Heritage Park. The hours for the festival are 5 pm to 10 pm on Friday and 2 pm to 10 pm on Saturday. Tickets are now available online and range from $20 to $30.

Based on the results of the beer competition at the 2023 festival, The Saginaw News/MLive has selected five beers to taste this year from breweries already listed among the participants for the 2024 event. These beers include “Classic American” by Kuhnhenn Brewing, “Lager for the Lakes” from Bell’s Brewery, “Call Me Hazy” from Perrin Brewing, “Siren” from North Peak Brewing, and “Nor’Eastern Troubles” by Tri-City Brewing.

The top prize in the International Lager category last year was awarded to “Classic American” by Kuhnhenn Brewing. In the Standard American category, Bell’s Brewery took home gold with their “Lager for the Lakes.” Perrin Brewing’s “Call Me Hazy” was named best among American IPAs. North Peak Brewing earned gold in the British Bitter category with their “Siren,” while Tri-City Brewing won first place in Amber Bitter European with their beer “Nor’Eastern Troubles.”
