Lincoln Wallen Named Chief Technology Officer at Framestore Company 3 Group

Framestore Company 3 Group (FC3) has recently appointed Lincoln Wallen as its new group chief technology officer. Wallen brings a wealth of experience in artificial intelligence and a PhD from the University of Edinburgh to his new role, where he will be responsible for seeking and fostering new strategic partnerships across business, technology, and academia.

Wallen’s appointment comes at a critical time for the industry as companies seek to scale their businesses through compelling storytelling and technological advancements. In his new role, Wallen will focus on strengthening existing partnerships with studios, institutions, and brands to maximize their properties while also exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

Working closely with Framestore CEO Mel Sullivan and Company 3 Group CEO Stefan Sonnenfeld, Wallen aims to leverage technology and innovation to enhance the creative process, media business, and consumer experience within the company. FC3 is well-known for its expertise in color grading and has worked on high-profile projects such as “Deadpool & Wolverine,” “Wicked,” “Transformers: One,” and “Despicable Me.” The latter two films will have special presentations at the Annecy Animation Festival. With Wallen’s appointment, FC3 is poised to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world of storytelling and technology.
