Food Establishment Closures in Orange County: A Look at the Latest Health Violations and Reopenings

Health Inspectors Force Closure of Orange County Restaurants (May 23-30) – Orange County Register

In recent weeks, several restaurants and food vendors in Orange County have been ordered to close due to health violations. These establishments were later allowed to reopen after addressing the issues highlighted by health inspectors.

One of the establishments that was closed was Gina’s Pizza in Laguna Beach, which shut down on May 29 due to a cockroach infestation. However, the restaurant was able to reopen on May 30 after taking steps to address the issue.

Similarly, Tsun Scoops in Garden Grove and Pho Lovers in Garden Grove were both closed on May 28 for rodent infestations but were also able to reopen on May 30 and May 29 respectively. These closures are part of an ongoing effort by Orange County health inspectors to ensure that all food establishments are operating safely and hygienically.

Peking Gourmet in Garden Grove and Subway in Cypress were also closed on May 23 for rodent infestations but were able to reopen on May 24 after taking steps to address the issue.
