In the 6A category, Derby lost to Olathe South 6-8, Lawrence Free-State fell to Haysville-Campus 1-11, Olathe Northwest beat Blue Valley 9-4, and Blue Valley West was defeated by Washburn Rural 1-25.
5A scores include Spring Hill beating Great Bend 14-5, St. Thomas Aquinas defeating KC Piper 7-5, Maize South besting Topeka-Seaman 3-2, and Bishop Carroll losing to Basehor-Linwood 8-24.
