Florida Shines in U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 Best States Rankings

Florida ranked as the 10th best state overall by U.S. News & World Report, with top rankings in education and economy.

The state also performed well in college readiness, as indicated by SAT and ACT scores. The population of Florida has increased significantly by 18% from 2010 to 2022 due to factors such as warm weather, no state income tax, and a perceived lower cost of living that attract new residents.
