For six years, I had the pleasure of working as a park ranger at both state and national parks. During my time in this role, I was fortunate enough to be stationed at some of the most breathtaking parks in the country. When asked which park was my favorite, I would often mention places like Bryce Canyon, Zion, Shenandoah, Congaree, and Yosemite National Park. Each of these parks held a special place in my heart for different reasons, from the awe-inspiring rock formations of Bryce Canyon to the lush forests of Shenandoah.
As a park ranger, I frequently interacted with visitors who were looking for recommendations on which parks to visit. With national park visitation on the rise, people were eager to make the most of their travel experiences. Given my experience, I always recommended certain parks to travelers as must-visit destinations. These parks included Bryce Canyon, Zion, Shenandoah, Congaree, and Yosemite National Park.
