FIFA World 11 Honors: Bellingham, Vinicius Jr., and Courtois Recognized for Outstanding Performances

FIFPRO awards Bellingham, Vinicius, and Courtois with their World 11 honors during FIFA ceremony

During a visit to Real Madrid City at Valdebebas, FIFA representatives Mattias Grafström and Arsene Wenger honored midfielder Jude Bellingham, attacker Vinicius Junior, and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois with their FIFPRO World 11 awards. These awards were earned at The Best ceremony held in January, where professional footballers worldwide voted these three players into the world’s best lineup.

Vinicius and Bellingham made their debut on the World 11 list, while Courtois secured his spot for the second consecutive year. This recognition was well-deserved, reflecting their outstanding performances during the 2022-2023 season. Wenger, a former Arsenal coach, engaged in a friendly conversation with Bellingham after presenting him with the award, creating a memorable moment for the young midfielder.

Real Madrid has been diligently preparing for their upcoming match against Manchester City in the Champions League Quarterfinals. The team utilized a week off to focus on training and tactics leading up to the crucial game. This break coincided with the Copa del Rey Final between Athletic Bilbao and Mallorca, allowing Madrid to maximize their preparations and fine-tune their strategies for the upcoming challenge on Tuesday.
