Ferrari’s Latest E-Building Drives Growth in the E-Powertrain Market

Ferrari has recently established an e-building, which marks a significant milestone in the brand’s 77-year journey. This new facility sets the stage for future sustainability projects and will be the birthplace of Ferrari’s first fully electric model. The company has been investing in electric technology since 2009, and the debut of their first EV is scheduled for next year.

Apart from production facilities, the e-building also houses an educational center and dedicates 30% of its space for future development and innovation. Designed to achieve Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB) performance, the e-building incorporates sustainable practices such as rainwater recycling, irrigation for green areas, and advanced insulation for managing solar radiation. The energy systems in the e-building are completely free of fossil fuels, and the air conditioning system relies on a renewable electric heat pump.

The innovative e-building showcases Ferrari’s commitment to sustainability and innovation in the automotive industry. The company has been investing heavily in electric technology since 2009, with plans to debut their first EV next year. The electric Ferrari is expected to feature high-voltage batteries, EVs, and axles produced in this cutting-edge facility. Ferrari’s dedication to sustainability underscores their commitment to pushing boundaries in the world of automobiles.
