The World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida was transformed into a fun-filled Easter egg expedition venue on Sunday. Families were treated to a four-hour event filled with activities that included face painting, arts and crafts, music from a DJ and multiple Easter egg hunts. For Chantie Cranston, who is new to the area, attending the event was a great way to explore and see what Ocala has to offer.
The first egg hunt was for children under nine years old while the second one was for kids ages 10 and up. Excited participants shared that six golden eggs were hidden in the arena and those who found them received special prizes. One young egg hunter, Aeriana Lofton, expressed her excitement about going home to paint eggs with her family for Easter.
In addition to the egg hunts, attendees had the opportunity to decorate cookies as well as eggs providing them with a variety of ways to celebrate the holiday. Families suggested that they would like even more eggs and prizes at the event next year. Overall, it was a fun-filled day for families in the Ocala community to come together and enjoy the holiday festivities.
