Family Fun and Biking: Laredo’s Biciclovia Returns for Second Year!

Laredo Health Department Hosts ‘Biciclova’ Event in the City

On Saturday, May 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Laredo Health Department is hosting a fun-filled event downtown that invites the community to join in the festivities. This is the second annual “Biciclovia” event, which aims to encourage families to get outdoors and enjoy cycling on their bicycles or tricycles.

To keep participants cool during warm temperatures, organizers have set up cooling stations and will be providing water bottles to help them stay hydrated. The event will take place at Tres Laredos Park, where some bikes will be available for rent on site for those who don’t own one. In addition to biking, there will be food, activities such as Zumba and tai chi, and plenty of fun for everyone to enjoy.

Free parking will be available at the Outlet Shoppes at Laredo for those attending the event. “Biciclovia” is free and open to the public, so all are welcome to come and enjoy a day of outdoor activities.
