Falcons Roster Moves: Letting Go of Potter and Previlon, Adding Jones-Smith and Emili for Upcoming Season

Falcons release OL Nolan Potter and DL Willington Previlon

The Atlanta Falcons recently made roster moves to stay within the roster limit by releasing two players while adding new ones. Offensive lineman Nolan Potter and defensive lineman Willington Previlon were both let go by the team.

Previlon, who has been with multiple teams since entering the league as an undrafted rookie from Rutgers, has yet to play in a regular-season game. On the other hand, Potter joined the Falcons as an undrafted rookie from NIU this offseason but did not make the final cut.

In their place, the Falcons added offensive tackle Jaryd Jones-Smith and defensive tackle Prince Emili, both of whom most recently played in the UFL. These moves show the team’s commitment to finding the right mix of players to enhance their roster for the upcoming season. It will be interesting to see how these new additions will contribute to the Falcons’ success on the field.
