Falcons Claim Former Patriot Andrew Stueber on Waivers to Strengthen Offensive Line

Falcons acquire offensive lineman Andrew Stueber from waivers

On Tuesday, the Falcons strengthened their offensive line by claiming Andrew Stueber off waivers. Stueber, a seventh-round pick in 2022 from Michigan, was waived by the Patriots the day before. Despite being drafted, Stueber has yet to play in a regular season game due to a torn hamstring in his rookie year and spending last season on the practice squad.

With their starting offensive line looking set, Stueber will likely compete for a backup role on the Falcons’ roster this summer. The team’s transaction report also revealed that wide receiver JaQuae Jackson was waived by the Falcons, indicating further moves by the team to fine-tune their roster.
