FalComics 2024: A Festival of Comics, Music and Pop Culture Brings Together 235,000 Visitors in Italy

Unprecedented Success in Falconara Marittima

The 2024 edition of FalComics, a festival dedicated to comics and pop culture held in Falconara Marittima from May 24 to 26, was a huge success. Organized by LEG Live Emotion Group on the initiative of Mayor Stefania Signorini, the event drew approximately 235,000 visitors of all ages from across Italy.

Mayor Signorini expressed her satisfaction with the event, noting that FalComics not only exceeded expectations but also succeeded in engaging the entire city. The festival’s exhibition area expanded from 64,000 to 98,000 square meters, thanks to the efforts of various associations, schools, businesses, and even beach operators who contributed to its success. The Mayor thanked the artistic director Gianluca DelCarlo, as well as other key figures who helped make the event a reality.

Sandro Giacomelli of LEG Live Emotion Group also expressed gratitude towards the Mayor and the City Council for their support, as well as the entire team that worked tirelessly to make FalComics a success. The event featured numerous activities and events centered around the theme of “OPEN MIND,” with over 20 national partners, more than 100 events, 13 thematic areas, and over 100 total guests.

FalComics 2024 showcased not only the culture of comics and games but also the power of music to evoke emotions and create connections. The festival included live performances featuring renowned artists such as Cristina D’Avena and Lacuna Coil, creating a nostalgic and immersive experience for attendees. The event also addressed current issues affecting adolescents, with discussions on cyberbullying and gender violence. Additionally, cosplay contests and other engaging activities took place throughout the festival.
