The 2024 Weed Science Field Tour is set to take place on June 12 from 1-5 p.m. at research fields on the Palouse. This tour, hosted by Washington State University (WSU), will be led by WSU scientists who will discuss weed management practices and provide updates on current research projects.

Attendees will have the opportunity to earn Washington and Idaho pesticide recertification credits while learning from experts in the field. The tour will kick off at the Palouse Conservation Field Station, located approximately 1 mile west of Washington Highway 27 on Pullman Albion Rd.

After the tour, there will be a social hour from 5-6 p.m. at WSU’s RJ Cook Agronomy Farm, where the tour will conclude. This event provides a unique opportunity for those interested in weed science to learn from experts in the field, network with other professionals, and earn valuable pesticide recertification credits.
