During San Diego Comic-Con, UC San Diego will be hosting a special “The Science of Story” Masterclass in partnership with The Clarion Science Fiction & Fantasy Writer’s Workshop. The five-day event will run from July 23 to July 28 and will include on-campus housing, access to the Masterclass, and three special events at the Epstein Family Amphitheater.
The three events at the Amphitheater include an evening with George Takei and John Cho on July 23, a live screening of the 2009 Star Trek film with the San Diego Symphony performing the score on July 24, and a screening of JAWS in partnership with Birch Aquarium on July 27. Various packages are available for this immersive and all-inclusive event, starting at $425 for access to all events and going up to $1200 for five nights of accommodations. Tickets will go on sale the week of June 17.
