Exploring the Intersection of Museum Visualization and Technology: Barco Launches Two-Part Survey on Projector Brand Awareness and Preferences

Survey on Visualisation Technology in Museums by Barco

As a technology company specializing in innovative visualization solutions, Barco has recently launched a two-part survey to explore museum visualization technology. The first part of the survey looks at the types of visualization technology that museums use for both permanent and temporary exhibits. The second part is a more detailed survey on projector brand awareness and preferences.

Those who fully complete the survey will have a chance to win an I600, Barco’s latest single-chip projector. This projector offers premium image quality, multichannel compatibility, and a compact size, making it ideal for a wide range of museum applications. According to Lieven Bertels, segment marketing lead at Barco, the survey is more than just feedback – it is an opportunity to be at the forefront of museum innovation by gathering valuable insights and co-creating a future where technology enhances the visitor experience.

Barco’s commitment to innovation was on full display recently as they supplied the technology for ARTE MUSEUM at Dubai Mall. This immersive experience was created by digital media content and technology design company d’strict, and represents a significant advancement in the expansion of ARTE MUSEUM’s reach and impact. In 2022, Barco signed a framework agreement with d’strict to be the exclusive provider of projectors for all new international digital art museum projects for the next four years. The agreement includes delivery of three-chip and single-chip DLP laser projectors, access to Barco’s Insights Management Suite for global fleet management, and a custom service solution tailored for all regions. The deal is estimated to be worth over €15m in total.
