The lineup for Cheltenham Science Festival has been unveiled

The upcoming Cheltenham Science Festival promises to be a diverse and exciting event, with an array of speakers and topics covering everything from everyday life to the universe. Among the lineup are physicist Brian Cox, comedian Dara Ó Briain, and astronaut Tim Peake. The festival aims to explore science’s role in various aspects of life, including eating, aging, deception, and elections.

The six-day event will feature over 200 scientists, writers, explorers, comedians, media personalities, and even a Buddhist monk. It promises to be both entertaining and enlightening for attendees who will hear from experts like game theorist Marcus Du Sautoy, kidnap negotiator Scott Walker, and aerospace engineer Andrew Smyth.

The festival will also delve into space exploration and military technology while discussing international relations and the future of travel. Dr Marieke Navin, head of programming at the festival said that it is an “unmissable opportunity” to inspire the next generation of thinkers and dreamers.
