The City Welcomes a New Science Museum Focused on Eye Health

A new museum dedicated to eye health has opened in the city, offering educational opportunities for people of all ages. The Ai’er Eye Health Science Museum features interactive exhibits and multimedia projects aimed at promoting health education in an engaging and easily understandable way. Visitors can explore specially designed exhibits, models, and simulation items like blind walking tracks to learn about the structure of eyes, the causes of eye diseases, and experience how scenes appear to people with different eye disorders or the challenges faced by blind individuals.

The museum has been recognized as a youth education base by the Shanghai Children’s Foundation, which plans to organize online and offline educational programs to teach students and their families about proper eye protection, as well as prevention and control of myopia. Starting this summer, a series of educational events will be launched, inviting schools to visit the eye museum for health education sessions.
