Pima Community College’s Aviation Technology Program in Tucson, Arizona is hosting a career fair and open house for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the aviation industry. The hiring fair will be held on Tuesday, March 26th from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Aviation Technology Center near Valencia Rd. and Park Ave.
Faculty instructor Chris Barnett notes that there is currently a high demand for workers in the aviation industry. Many individuals retired before and during COVID, creating a significant gap in the workforce. As a result, the demand for skilled workers in the aviation field is expected to persist for the foreseeable future.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and interview with local and national aviation employers, interact with Pima’s top instructors and students, and take a tour of the hangar. This event is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about aviation to explore their career options and make valuable connections within the industry.
