According to Pathan, having Virat Kohli open the batting could allow for a certain combination of players in the squad, potentially including Shivam Dubey and Rinku Singh in the playing 11. However, if Kohli were to bat at number three, this might not be possible. Additionally, if Jaiswal were in the team, he could provide an additional bowling option as he has been practicing his bowling in the nets.
