Expert in Logistics and Supply Chain Management Named Dean of WGTC’s School of Trade and Technology

West Georgia Technical College Appoints Lucinda Montgomery as Dean of Trade and Technology

Kristen Buoy, Vice President of Academic Affairs at West Georgia Technical College (WGTC), is excited to announce the appointment of Lucinda Montgomery as the new Dean for the School of Trade and Technology. Montgomery has extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management, having served as the Associate Dean of Trade and Technology at WGTC for several years.

Before joining WGTC, Montgomery was an Associate Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Georgia Highlands College, where she designed and taught courses in the Bachelor of Business Administration pathway. She also worked as a Quality Matters peer reviewer to ensure course accessibility for online learners. Montgomery is an Air Force Veteran with over 20 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management. She holds a Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at Georgia State University.

Montgomery expressed her honor at being appointed as Dean of the School of Trade and Technology at WGTC. She looks forward to collaborating with faculty and staff to enhance programs and create more opportunities for students. WGTC offers over 120 associate degree, diploma, and technical certificate programs across several counties in Georgia.
