DXC Technology has appointed Kylie Watson as the new leader for Asia Pacific (APAC) and Middle East and Africa (MEA) regions. With her base in Sydney, Watson will now oversee cybersecurity initiatives for DXC’s customers throughout these regions. She will focus on providing advisory and managed security services to help improve the cyber posture of these areas.
Watson joined DXC earlier this year as the head of security for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ). Prior to her role at DXC, she was a partner at PwC Australia, specializing in cybersecurity and digital trust. With an extensive background in IT in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Thailand, Watson has held leadership positions at major companies like SAP, Deloitte, HP, and IBM.
As a highly experienced and outcome-focused leader in cybersecurity, Watson is confident in DXC’s ability to deliver expert services and threat intelligence to their customers. She emphasized the importance of spreading awareness about smart cyber resilience strategies to help organizations withstand security threats.
