Caregivers Home Health, a 150-person home health company based in Topeka, Kansas, has recently been acquired by Elara Caring, a senior care provider with over 200 locations across the nation. This acquisition marks Elara Caring’s entrance into the Iowa market, adding to their existing services in 18 states.

Ed Schulte, the CEO and President of Caregivers Home Health, expressed confidence in Elara Caring as a partner due to their reputation for quality care and service. He believes that their team members, patients, and referral partners are in good hands under the leadership of Elara Caring.

Elara Caring currently offers services such as home health, hospice, personal care, behavioral health, and palliative care. With over 200 locations, the company’s clinicians serve more than 60,000 patients. This acquisition is just the latest in a series of strategic moves by Elara Caring. In recent years, they have expanded into Rhode Island and Illinois through acquisitions of other healthcare providers.
