On Thursday, May 2, the University of Utah will hold its 155th general commencement to recognize the achievements of 118 current or former student-athletes who have earned their degrees. The ceremony will celebrate graduates from Fall 2023, as well as Spring and Summer 2024, and will be livestreamed at 6 p.m. MT on Thursday at www.utah.edu/live.
The student-athletes at the University of Utah have a long-standing tradition of academic excellence, with a graduation rate of 94% in the most recent NCAA GSR Report released in December 2023. This is the sixth consecutive year that Utah has achieved a graduation rate of 93% or higher, placing it second in the Pac-12 conference behind Stanford.
During the ceremony, students from various sports programs at Utah will be recognized, including baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, cross country, track & field, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, skiing, soccer, softball, men’s swimming & diving, women’s swimming & diving, men’s tennis
