Everton has recently acquired midfielder Tim Iroegbunam from Aston Villa for a reported £9m, marking their first signing of the summer transfer window. The England Under-20 international made 15 appearances for Villa last season and spent the previous campaign on loan at Championship side QPR.
Iroegbunam, who is only 20 years old, has signed a contract with Everton until the end of June 2027. He spoke positively about joining the club, describing Everton as an amazing and big club. He expressed his eagerness to get started with his new team and shared that he didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to join Everton.
Everton manager Sean Dyche expressed his satisfaction with the addition of Iroegbunam to the team, highlighting his potential and qualities in midfield. The young midfielder is still in the process of learning and developing his skills, but Everton sees potential in him and believes he possesses the qualities necessary for success in midfield. Iroegbunam’s move to Everton represents a significant step in his career, and he is looking forward to contributing to the club’s achievements in the future.
