BBC Creative has created an immersive experience that brings to life a 3D pinball world filled with the sounds of clattering and clanking. The ball bounces unpredictably through the machine, showcasing famous European football players like Kane, Ronaldo, and De Bruyne.
The sound design from GAS adds to the thrill, while commentary from familiar BBC voices like Guy Mowbray, Vicki Sparks, and Steve Wilson adds to the excitement. This promotional film will be used as the opening sequence for the BBC’s television coverage of the tournament, starting on 14th June.
Rasmus Smith Bech, executive creative director of BBC Creative, explains that the Euros tournament is known for its action, emotion, and surprises, making it more unpredictable than most international competitions. The giant pinball machine serves as a fitting canvas to showcase the unpredictable and exciting nature of the Euros. The ad will be featured across BBC channels and social media platforms, premiering during the FA Cup final on 25th May.
