Empowering the Future: Highpoint Academy Hosts Annual Children’s Business Fair

Luzerne County hosts Annual Children’s Business Fair

On Saturday, Highpoint Classical Academy in Larksville played host to Action Academy’s annual children’s business fair. Thirty young entrepreneurs showcased their goods and services, with each child bringing a unique business idea to the table. From sportswear to baked goods, the kids’ passions and interests were reflected in their creations.

One of the participants, Emma Rasys, who is the CEO of Spill the Dough, shared her love for baking. She has been honing her skills for years and hopes to make a career out of it. The fair provided her with an opportunity to showcase her talents and gain valuable experience in running a business.

All of the proceeds from the sales at the fair went directly towards each child’s business, allowing them to reinvest in their ventures or save for future endeavors. Participating in the fair was not only about showcasing creativity and talent but also learning important lessons about entrepreneurship and financial management.

Events like these help foster a culture of innovation and self-reliance among the next generation of business leaders. By providing young entrepreneurs with hands-on experience in running a business, they can develop essential skills that will serve them well in their future careers.
