Emerson Royal Moving to AC Milan: Tottenham’s Departing Squad Grows as Italian Giants Express Interest

Tottenham Hotspur Player Nearing Agreement With Club of Interest

The list of departing players from Tottenham Hotspur is growing, as a fringe player is reportedly on the verge of leaving for another club. Ange Postecoglou has made it clear that he wants to make changes to his squad, with Japhet Tanganga and Ryan Sessegnon already having left.

Defender Emerson Royal could be the next player to go, as he has attracted interest from Italian giants AC Milan. Royal’s agent has been in discussions with AC Milan, and the two clubs are currently negotiating a potential move for the Brazilian defender. According to reports from Gazzetta dello Sport via Tutto Mercato, Royal has agreed in principle to make the switch to AC Milan this summer.

Tottenham is reportedly seeking a transfer fee of around €30m for Royal, but AC Milan is hoping to secure a deal for closer to €20m. Royal is said to be waiting for the two clubs to come to an agreement before completing the move to the San Siro. If this happens, it will add another piece of depth and talent to AC Milan’s defense and potentially push them closer to winning their first Serie A title in years.
