An emergency has occurred on the 120-night around-the-world cruise operated by Ambassador Cruise Line. A crew member went missing at sea, and a thorough search of the ship was conducted before the decision was made to reverse its course to retrace its route. The vessel, named Ambience, was nearing the end of its journey when it was redirected back to the north-west coast of Spain.
The Ambience had previously visited countries like Australia, India, Brazil, and South Africa before heading to Tilbury in Essex. The ship’s final destination was Tilbury, where it was due to arrive early Sunday morning. However, marine traffic scanners revealed that it had been redirected back to Spain due to an emergency situation involving a missing crew member.
Ambassador Cruise Line is known as “Britain’s premium value no-fly cruise line” and operates from eight regional UK ports. The investigation into the disappearance of the crew member is ongoing as authorities work to determine what happened during the final stretch of the 120-night around-the-world cruise. The safety and well-being of their crew and passengers are their top priority as they continue searching for the missing crew member while retracing their route back to Tilbury.
