In a thrilling Division 2 South flag football game at the Orange Bowl in Fredonia, it was all about Ella Koopman and her impressive performance. Koopman threw for five touchdown passes, leading Fredonia to a dominant 80-0 victory over Southwestern. She finished with 137 passing yards and also added 47 rushing yards with another score.

Francesca Pucci was another standout player, contributing a team-high 99 rushing yards and a touchdown, along with 28 receiving yards and another touchdown. Natalia DiPalma ran for 73 yards and two touchdowns, while Makayla Tabone, Juliana Snyder, Madelyn Polhamus, Keiliany Diaz, and Ashlynn Delcamp also caught touchdown passes for Fredonia.

On the defensive side, Bryleigh Wicks had an impressive performance with five flag pulls, two interceptions, and a pass defended. Elizabeth Morris added two flag pulls and two sacks, while Paige Elliott had three interceptions, one of which she returned for a touchdown. Brianna Whitfield also recorded an interception.

Fredonia’s lead was commanding at halftime, with a score of 54-0 in this one-sided contest.
