The Elite racers are now racing against the clock to determine who will advance to the semi-finals. Despite a crash during practice, Camille Balanche has shown incredible speed in qualifying, leading the elite women by over seven and a half seconds.
In the Elite Men’s qualifying for the second round of the 2024 World Cup series, Loris Vergier is in first place, followed by Dakotah Norton in second place, Ronan Dunne in third place, Loic Bruni in fourth place, and Troy Brosnan in fifth place.
The current standings for the Elite Women are as follows: Camille Balanche is in first place, Tahnee Seagrave is in second place, Marine Cabirou is in third place, Louise Ferguson is in fourth place, and Eleonora Farina is in fifth place. The race progresses with Vali Höll experiencing a drivetrain issue during her run, falling back 38 seconds in the first split.
