Eli Tomac Returns to Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing for 2024 Pro Motocross and SMX Seasons, Set to Continue Legacy in the Sport

Eli Tomac Announces Participation in 2024 Pro Motocross and SuperMotocross World Championships

Eli Tomac is set to make a return to Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing for the entirety of the 2024 Pro Motocross outdoor season and the SuperMotocross World Championship. In a release, Tomac expressed his excitement for the upcoming season, stating that he is feeling great on the motorcycle and believes that he and the team will be strong competitors in both Pro Motocross and the SMX series.

Throughout his time with Yamaha Star Racing, Tomac has amassed an impressive 29 overall wins in the combined SuperMotocross series. With a successful return to racing this year, including promising results in both series, Tomac’s consistent performance has positioned him well in the championship standings. As a two-time Supercross champion and four-time Motocross series titlist, Tomac was on track to secure a third title last year before sustaining an injury to his Achilles tendon.

Jeremy Coker, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing 450 Team Manager, expressed his excitement about having Tomac onboard for the entire SMX season. The team is looking to capitalize on the momentum they have built this year and aim to reclaim the No. 1 spot in the upcoming season. Tomac has been a part of Yamaha Star Racing for three seasons, and their successes together speak to their strong partnership.

Despite previous setbacks, including an injury that forced him out of competition last year, Tomac remains a top contender and is eager to continue competing at the highest level. With both Pro Motocross set to begin in May and SuperMotocross following in September, Tomac is looking forward to further establishing his legacy in the sport while competing alongside his teammates at Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing.
