The Greenfield Tractor Supply Co. on 72 Newton St. is hosting two exciting events on Saturday, April 20th. The first event is a Backyard Poultry Event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., where customers can learn how to care for and manage their own backyard flock. Many people love the convenience of having fresh eggs right in their own backyard, but they don’t always know where to start. The goal of this event is to provide anyone interested in raising a backyard flock with the resources and information needed to do so successfully. Expert event partners will be present to offer guidance, and Tractor Supply will have starter kits, feeders, bedding, heat bulbs and lamps, coops, and more available for purchase.
The second event is the Plant-a-Seed event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., which offers young gardeners a hands-on opportunity to learn the basics of gardening. Children can visit the store to plant a perennial butterfly garden, while supplies last. A team member will be on hand to guide the children in the activity and provide tips on nurturing and caring for their garden. Participants can take their seeds home to monitor their growth and watch as butterflies are attracted to the garden as it flourishes. This event aims to educate and inspire younger customers through interactive learning experiences and help them discover their interests and hobbies in gardening
