After 16 years of representing his country on the field, Cavani, also known as “El Matador,” has decided to focus on the next stage of his illustrious career.

During his time with the national team, Cavani became Uruguay’s second all-time leading scorer and third most-capped player with an impressive record of 58 goals in 136 appearances. Cavani made his debut for Uruguay in 2008 and went on to participate in four World Cups.
