ECU Health Collects Community Feedback Through CHNA to Improve Health in Eastern North Carolina.

ECU Health solicits input on needs assessment

ECU Health is currently collecting feedback from community members in eastern North Carolina through its Community Health Needs Assessment. This assessment serves as the foundation for improving and promoting good health in the region, and by directly soliciting feedback from the community, ECU Health can better tailor its efforts to promote wellness and address critical health challenges.

Community members aged 15 and older are encouraged to complete the CHNA survey and provide meaningful feedback on how ECU Health can improve health and well-being in eastern North Carolina. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and all responses are confidential. By gathering this valuable data, ECU Health can ensure that healthcare needs are being met in the 29 counties served by their system.

The CHNA process involves collecting and analyzing comprehensive data, including demographic, socioeconomic, and health-related statistics. However, the most valuable insights come directly from community members themselves, which is why direct feedback is essential. The results of the completed CHNA analysis serve as the basis for prioritizing strategies to meet the community’s health needs, ultimately working towards improving the health and well-being of eastern North Carolina.
