Economic Concerns Hinder Joe Biden’s Reelection: New Poll Shows.

Poll shows high cost of living in Biden economy driving voters back to Trump

New polling by the Swing State Project reveals that President Joe Biden may face challenges on Election Day due to dissatisfaction with his handling of the economy and concerns about the cost of living. According to the poll, 60% of voters disapprove of Biden’s economic policies, with 73% listing the cost of living and inflation as top concerns. This contradicts Biden’s claims about building the economy from the middle and bottom.

Former President Donald Trump is shown to be leading Biden by 47% to 44% in seven key swing states, indicating that voters are evaluating the economy based on different factors than those highlighted by the Biden administration. The rising cost of living and inflation are considered more significant issues by a majority of voters than federal unemployment or stock market trends.

Among those surveyed, 54% believe the cost of living is the most accurate indicator of economic strength, while 51% view inflation as the weakest aspect of the economy. In contrast, only 6% of voters selected the stock market, 13% chose low unemployment, and 9% picked household income as key economic markers. The polling data was gathered from 3,969 voters in battleground states such as Wisconsin, North Carolina, Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, and Pennsylvania from May 6 to May 13.
