Echoes of the Falklands: A Virtual Journey through the Lasting Impact of War

Which video game honoring Argentine soldiers is causing a sensation on the internet?

The Falklands War, a conflict that took place more than 40 years ago, continues to be a painful memory for many Argentines. The game’s trailer was released online and quickly garnered attention, with over 30 thousand views on YouTube within hours of its release. The trailer features powerful images that rival those of blockbuster games in the gaming world.

The interest in the video game led to the creation of Burro Studio, which completed the development of “Malvinas: the last letter” with support from the Enhance Video Games Fund program.

Burro Studio, currently comprising five core members distributed throughout the country, aims to tell a new story that departs from traditional war-themed games. The game offers players a unique perspective on the Falklands War, focusing on survival and stealth rather than traditional shooting elements.
