Eagles Secure Jordan Mailata for Three More Years in $66 Million Extension Deal

The Eagles have secured the services of their left tackle, Jordan Mailata, for several more years. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Mailata has signed a three-year extension that will keep him with Philadelphia through 2028. The deal is worth $66 million, with $48 million guaranteed and a $20 million signing bonus.

Prior to this extension, Mailata was already under contract with the Eagles through 2025. Originally from Australia where he played rugby, Mailata was drafted by the Eagles in the seventh round in 2018. He made his regular-season debut in 2020 and has been the team’s starting left tackle since then, playing every offensive snap for the team in 2023. With this new contract, Mailata is now one of the highest-paid offensive tackles in the NFL.
