EA Sports College Football 25: Surpassing Expectations with Over 14,000 Player Participations and New NIL Rights”.

EA Sports College Football 25 achieves milestone with NIL integration

As the most eagerly anticipated moment of the 2024 college football preseason approaches, fans are eagerly waiting for the release of EA Sports College Football 25. The game is set to hit the market on July 19th, and Electronic Arts has achieved an important milestone by securing over 14,000 players who have opted into the game.

This number surpasses the original aim of EA to involve 10,000 athletes in the game’s development. OneTeam Partners, responsible for managing licensing rights for college and professional athletes, has been facilitating NIL rights between college football players and EA. Athletes participating in the game will receive $600 each along with a copy of the game.

EA Sports last released its popular college football video game in 2013 before discontinuing it following a court ruling that required the company to compensate athletes who appeared in the game but were not paid. With the introduction of new NIL rules two years ago, EA announced that the game would make a comeback in the future. After much anticipation and exciting previews, this return is now closer than ever before.
