The Dubai Expo City Authority has announced the launch of a new non-profit organization called the Dubai Expo City Foundation. This entity aims to support and develop innovative ideas that benefit people and the planet, building on the success of Expo Live, a global innovation and partnership program announced within the framework of Expo 2020 Dubai.
The Foundation’s mission is to connect individuals, ideas, and resources to find solutions to pressing challenges and enhance opportunities for financing, cooperation, investment, and business. After hosting the COP28 climate summit and the most comprehensive World Expo, the Foundation is working to strengthen Dubai’s position as a center for purposeful partnerships.
During the launch event, government officials, institutions, partners, and innovators emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to creating a better future through giving, benevolence, and positive change. The event included a dialogue session on charitable work and social development, highlighting the potential for the UAE to become a global center for designing and implementing charitable projects and solutions to global challenges.
