Brandon Jones has secured his third career Xfinity pole at Dover Motor Speedway with a lap of 156.863 mph. He will share the front row with Riley Herbst, who qualified at 156.781 mph.
Riley Herbst, who finished second last week at Talladega, is one of four drivers competing for the $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus from Xfinity this weekend. The other three drivers vying for the bonus are Jesse Love starting eighth, Ryan Sieg in 14th, and Anthony Alfredo in 21st.
In addition to Jones and Herbst, other drivers who qualified well include Justin Allgaier in third place with a lap of 156.672 mph and Austin Hill in fourth place with a lap of 156.060 mph. Sheldon Creed also qualified fifth with a lap of 155.851 mph while Kyle Weatherman set a career-best sixth place with a lap of 155.689 mph.
The Xfinity race is set to begin at 1:47 p.m. ET Saturday on FS1 and promises to be an exciting event as teams have competed at Dover Motor Speedway a total of 78 times throughout history, resulting in thrilling races each time around!
