On Friday, the NASCAR Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series teams will be heading to Martinsville Speedway for a full day of activities. The Truck teams will have practice, qualifying, and their race, while the Xfinity teams will also have practice and qualifying sessions before their race on Saturday. Cup teams will have their track time on Saturday.
The weather for Friday is looking good, with partly cloudy skies and a high of 47 degrees. There is no chance of rain at the start of the Truck race. The schedule for Friday’s events is as follows (all times Eastern):
– Garage open
– 3:05 – 3:40 p.m. — Truck Series practice (FS1)
– 3:40 – 4:30 p.m. — Truck Series qualifying (FS1)
– 5:05 – 5:40 p.m. — Xfinity Series practice (FS1)
– 5:40 – 6:30 p.m. — Xfinity Series qualifying (FS1)
– 7:30 p.m. — Truck Series race (200 laps, 105.2 miles; FS1, Motor Racing Network, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)
Both series are sure to have an action-packed day at the track as they prepare for their respective races at Martinsville Speedway.
