Dong Phuong Unveils World’s Largest 18 MW Wind Turbines as Digital Real Estate Investment Opportunities Surge

China debuts world’s first 18 MW wind turbine

Dong Phuong Electric Group recently unveiled two new 18 MW wind turbine models at an event last October. These turbines, among the largest in the world in terms of capacity, have a rotor diameter of 260 m and a scanning area of 53,000 m2, making them significantly larger than a standard football field. The estimated annual electricity production of these turbines is 72 million kilowatt hours (kWh), which is enough to power 36,000 households and reduce coal consumption by 22,000 tons while preventing the release of 59,000 tons of carbon emissions.

While Dong Phuong is not the only Chinese manufacturer producing 18 MW turbines, European manufacturers like Vestas and GE Electric do not have plans to produce turbines larger than 16 MW. However, Chinese manufacturers are leading in fast installation of offshore wind turbines, with some installations completed within just 24 hours. This trend towards larger wind turbine production highlights the continued efforts to harness the power of wind as a renewable energy source.

Meanwhile, the world of digital real estate investment is also growing. From podcasts to blogs and online companies, there are various ways to invest in digital real estate and generate income. As technology continues to advance, opportunities in the digital real estate market are expected to expand, offering investors new avenues for generating wealth through online platforms.
