DJI, a leading Chinese drone manufacturer, has achieved a remarkable milestone by successfully delivering supplies to Mount Everest’s Camp 1 using its FlyCart 30 drone. The drone transported three oxygen bottles and other essentials from Everest’s Base Camp to the camp located at a high altitude. In addition to delivering supplies, DJI’s drone was also used to transport trash from Camp 1 back down to Base Camp.
To ensure the success of the drone delivery, DJI conducted rigorous tests in extreme environmental conditions, including wind resistance, low temperatures, and weight capacity tests.
