Walt Disney Imagineering has just launched a new YouTube series titled “We Call It Imagineering,” which gives viewers an exclusive look at the incredible work that Imagineers do to bring magic to life in Disney Parks. In the first episode, the team delves into the technology behind the Audio-Animatronic figures coming to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, with Chief Creative Officer Bruce Vaughn emphasizing that the goal of Imagineering is to evoke emotions in guests through innovative technology.
The episode also highlights the evolution of Audio-Animatronics and how they will be used in future parks, including Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Additionally, Walt Disney Imagineering shares a sneak peek of the upcoming Tropical Americas land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, inspired by Encanto and Indiana Jones. This new land was announced at 2023 Destination D23 and more information is promised at the 2024 D23 Expo.
