University of Idaho College of Science to Present Two Days of Interactive Science Exploration on April 19-20 – Dailyfly

The University of Idaho College of Science is hosting Vandal Science Days, a two-day science event on April 19-20 at the Integrated Research and Innovation Center (IRIC) in Moscow. This event is open to the public free of charge and aims to provide hands-on science experiences for individuals of all ages.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and feature various science activities, interactive sessions with professors and students, and presentations on the university’s science programs and projects. Participants can engage in activities like a fossil dig and comet making, as well as special presentations by faculty members on topics such as arsenic usage in beauty products and archaeochemistry.

In addition to these activities, Vandal Science Days will also be part of the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, which will take place from April 17-20 at various locations around Moscow. The festival promises to be an exciting and educational experience for all who attend, with workshops exploring the connection between science and music.
