Prince William County students have a plethora of athletic programs to choose from. To ensure that parents and students are aware of these programs, the county will be hosting its first-ever sports fair on Saturday, June 1. The sports fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kelly Leadership Center in Manassas.
The event is free and open to all students, but those entering fifth grade, middle school, and high school in the fall are particularly encouraged to attend. The sports fair aims to spark interest among students who may not be familiar with the different sports offered by Prince William County’s schools.
Coaches and student-athletes will be available at the sports fair to answer questions and provide additional information about the athletic programs available at Prince William County’s schools. Translators will also be on-site to assist attendees as necessary. Along with learning about the athletic programs, there will be raffles, food trucks, and a DJ to provide entertainment throughout the event.
