Diaper Concierge: A Game-Changing Solution to the Diaper Shortage in Public Places

Dallas Entrepreneur Launches Diaper Vending Machine Business – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

As a first-time mom, Erin England faced various challenges, including postpartum depression. To cope with this difficult time, she found solace in leaving the house with her daughter. However, the lack of resources for diaper-changing items in public places posed a major obstacle. Determined to make a difference for other parents facing similar challenges, England launched Diaper Concierge to provide convenient access to diapers and other baby essentials.

Despite facing many rejections, England persisted and eventually secured locations for Diaper Concierge vending machines in 15 Dallas-Fort Worth areas, including DFW Airport. The business has plans to expand to airports in Houston, Austin, and Arkansas. Additionally, a partnership with Children’s Health has enabled the installation of a machine at SMU Ford Stadium that offers free diapers to parents in need.

England started the business out of necessity and desperation after a memorable incident where she found herself without diapers for her 6-month-old daughter while out at a restaurant. This experience led her to realize the lack of convenient access to baby items in public places, sparking the idea for her company. With every diaper purchased, Diaper Concierge donates a diaper to the National Diaper Bank Network. This initiative reflects England’s commitment to supporting parents and families in the community. By providing a practical solution to a common need, Diaper Concierge aims to make parenting a little bit easier for families on the go.
