Dewar’s Leads the Pack in World Whisky Competition, with Aultmore Receiving Top Prize and Master Blender of the Year Award

You’re Thinking of the World’s Best Bourbon Bottle

In a recent competition, Dewar’s led the charge for Bacardi by having half of the top ten whiskies come from their blended Scotch brand. Aultmore received the top prize, but it was Dewar’s that truly shone with their impressive performance. Stephanie Macleod, Bacardi master blender overseeing both Aultmore and Dewar’s, was named Master Blender of the Year for the sixth consecutive year.

The dominance of American whiskey was evident as the top three bourbons also ranked as the top three American whiskeys overall. George T. Stagg came in second, followed by NOCO Distillery’s Founders Reserve Single Barrel Bourbon in third place and W. L. Weller Antique 107 in third place. These rankings show the continuing popularity of whiskey globally and highlight the diverse range of options available to consumers.

The top ten whiskies in the world include Aultmore Oloroso Sherry Cask Travel Retail Exclusive 25 Year Old, The Glenlivet Sample Room Collection 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, and Dewar’s Double Double 37 Years Old, among others. Each of these whiskies received high scores and recognition in the competition, demonstrating the expertise and skill of the master blenders involved.
