DePaul Track and Field’s Noelle Malkamaki Secures Spot on U.S. Paralympics Team with World Record Win”.

In March, Noelle Malkamaki of DePaul Track and Field competed in the 2024 U.S. Paralympics Track & Field National Championships in Walnut, Calif. and secured a spot on the Team USA roster by winning the women’s F46 shot put event with a final mark of 13.21m. She is now aiming to defend her World title after winning gold in the women’s F46 shot put at her world championship debut last year.

During the competition, Malkamaki set a new world record three times, with her final throw measuring 13.32m. In July, she will focus on the 2024 U.S. Paralympic Team Trials with the goal of making it to the Paralympic Games.
